The Global Gay Expat Network of San Francisco organizes events for gay/lesbian/bi International and American residents of the Bay Area who have lived or traveled abroad and who are looking to meet and network with others. Events include coffee outings, international dinners, weekend brunches, local excursions and events with local international groups. Members are always welcome to suggest their own ideas for events as well. We look forward to hearing from you and meeting you soon!

I decided to start this group because I'm somewhat new to San Francisco and I wanted to make more female friends that were my age. This group is for 40-something, college educated, kind, witty, women who are decent conversationalists. I am not finding a whole lot of meet ups dedicated to just making friends with other queer folks. My vision is to meet up, play some basketball (shooting around and after we are warmed up maybe a game), and then maybe go grab a coke and be friends.
